You are receiving this invitation because of your interest in the field of energy. The annual energy symposia by the Rutgers Energy Institute (REI) provide faculty, students, staff, government officials, and community members with the opportunity to learn about the new methods, processes, and initiatives being developed by energy thinkers at Rutgers, in New Jersey, and across the country. The symposium will also include awards to the winners of this year's student Energy Innovation Contest, sponsored by the REI, to develop the best plans to reduce energy consumption and promote eco-friendly practices throughout the Rutgers New Brunswick Campus.
The REI is pleased to invite you to listen to and meet with the following speakers:
- Sally Benson, Director, Global Climate and Energy Project, Stanford University
- Daniel Kammen, Distinguished Professor, Energy and Resources Group, University of California, Berkeley
- Klaus Lackner, Director, The Center for Negative Carbon Emissions, Arizona State University
- Kenneth G. Miller, Distinguished Professor, Earth & Planetary Sciences, Rutgers University
There is no charge to attend, but registration is required.
