William and Christine Hartmann Prize in Auditory Neuroscience

The ASA is pleased to announce the availability of a new prize to encourage and honor research that links auditory physiology with auditory perception or behavior in humans or other animals. The prize recipient will be selected from among nominees whose fields of research include anatomy and physiology as it relates to auditory perception, electrophysiology and imaging of the listening brain, and mathematical and computer modeling of the auditory system. The prize is not limited to fundamental neuroscience. It may be given for applied research in animal bioacoustics, speech communication, neurally based prostheses, or music perception,
