Summary:

Since 2007, the Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists have been open to scientists in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Starting in 2014, the Blavatnik Family Foundation and the New York Academy of Sciences areexpanding the faculty competition to include young scientists across the US. The national faculty competition will recognize excellence in three disciplinary categories: Life Sciences; Physical Sciences & Engineering; and Chemistry. The Blavatnik Awards program aims to provide extraordinary young scientists with the funding and recognition necessary to carry out scientific work that will contribute to addressing society's current and future challenges.

The Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists is accepting nominations for a competition to honor America's most innovative young faculty-rank scientists and engineers.
