The characteristic of heavy Fermion systems is a
temperature scale T* below which the higher temperature local moment
behavior evolves into a coherent Pauli paramagnetic electronic ground
state. We show empirically that this temperature scale is determined
by the RKKY intersite coupling deriving from the Kondo coupling of
the corresponding dilute magnetic system.
