The Materials Science and Engineering Department seeks one or more tenure track faculty members who have research interests in one or more of the following thrust areas. Preference will be given to candidates at the Assistant Professor level, however outstanding candidates at higher ranks will also be considered. Must have completed Ph.D. prior to start of employment. Position entails normal faculty roles of research, teaching, and service.
The successful candidate is expected to make a major contribution to materials research in one or more
of the following thrust areas:
• Clean energy and sustainability
• Energy storage and conversion
• Advanced materials, devices, and nanotechnology
• Health and biomedicine
• Computation modeling
